An excellent example of a well-made modern production instrument,
this Les Paul from the latest edition of the Standard models
is a more precise, refined instrument than the Gold Top. Where
the Gold Top growls, the Gecko Burst is thicker and heavier
in a more modern way. Featuring Gibson Burstbucker pickups
and the 1960’s slim-taper neck shape, this guitar has
a great feel as well. With a finish so ugly that you have
to be rock-and-roll to pull it off, this guitar represents
the other side of the Les Paul equation.
