Between 1934 and 1936 Gibson produced roughly 200-300 Jumbos
to compete with Martins immensely successful dreadnought
guitars. This is a highly desired collectors instrument
and represents the best of the Gibson acoustic trademarks
a fat neck and amazing tone. This guitar will be arrive
at Prairie Sun in early 2007. It is currently undergoing restoration
work by luthier Frankie Monturo, the man Jeff Tweedy of Wilco
calls the guitar whisperer.
